In some circles, I am known as a guy who started out supporting Check Point VPN-1/FireWall-1 back in 1996 and had a reasonably popular FAQ site on the product in the late 1990s and early 2000s. I also wrote a couple of books on the product. In April 2009, I joined Check Point Software when they bought Nokia’s Security Appliance Business. In those circles, I am somewhat of a celebrity.
In most other circles, I am married guy with a couple of kids who mostly works from home and knows far too much about computers, networking, mobile phones, and a lot of other tech crap nobody else understands. In those circles, I am somewhat of a nobody.
